Emmaus

We recognize that financial giving can be a real challenge for many people. This is especially true in difficult economic times. True Christianity is about living to give, and true giving includes our time, talents, gifts and prayers. It also includes our finances. The Bible teaches us that the first portion, or tithe (10 percent), belongs to God (Malachi 3:10). This commitment is made in obedience to God and with a cheerful heart (2 Corinthians 9:7).  In addition to our tithes, we joyfully give freewill offerings, pledges and other contributions as God leads us.
